Our
Story
A journey of faith, family, and authentic African flavors
Since the Beginning
A Divine Calling
When you're walking in the path that God has set before you, you can feel it in your spirit. The doors open, the opportunities align, and the response from people confirms that you're exactly where you're meant to be. This kitchen, this mission, this calling, it's all part of a greater plan.
Our Vision
Picture a world where the rich, vibrant flavors of Ghanaian cuisine are as familiar on dinner tables as pizza or fried rice. Where the mention of jollof rice, fufu, or waakye brings the same recognition and excitement as any beloved international dish.
That's the vision we're building, a legacy that will bless not just our generation, but the ones that follow. We believe in the promise that when you walk in purpose, you create an inheritance that extends far beyond your own lifetime.
Every dish we serve, every customer we welcome, every recipe we share, it's all part of building something that will stand the test of time and bless generations to come.

About Chef Angie
I often wondered what kind of career I would be driven to pursue if certain events in my life had not transpired to influence my decision. I initially thought of pursuing a career in the health industry as a nurse and had even started taking classes in pursuit of that goal. However, the birth of my son was an eye opener. Through that experience I realized that nursing was not my real passion. My true calling is to pursue an education in culinary arts and eventually open and run my own restaurant. Had I not undergone the experience of giving birth to my son, I probably would have missed out on pursuing a much more passionate and fulfilling career.
I love to cook and, from childhood, I have dreamed of attaining the highest possible level of education in culinary arts. As a girl raised in Ghana, cooking is a necessary skill introduced to every young woman before she reaches adulthood and marriage. When not learned, it is considered a missing part of the full package needed in entering womanhood. Many girls see this responsibility as a burden, but I loved every bit of cooking in the kitchen. Cooking brings out my creativity, and to this day I still love it. The joy experienced during the planning process together with the time spent with others while cooking is deeply fulfilling. I love to cook for my friends and family, but I have come to realize that there is more to it than just cooking at home. I desire to open and run my own restaurant and cater for others on a commercial basis.
Running my own restaurant also represents other important things in my life. It means job security, setting a goal and attaining it, and being an example I want to instill in my children. It will provide a means to support my family and improve our standard of living. It also gives me the opportunity to meet people from diverse countries and cultures, to learn about different customers, languages, and the many kinds of food they enjoy. Through this journey, I hope to continually educate myself and ultimately accomplish the goal of building and growing my own restaurant.

Roots & Gratitude

In the kitchen where I learned to cook, my grandmother's hands moved with a wisdom that came from generations before her. She taught me not just recipes, but the stories behind each dish, the love that goes into every stir, and the patience required to create something truly special.
Those lessons, passed down from her to me, are now being shared with every plate we serve. But this journey isn't just about family tradition, it's about recognizing that God placed this calling in my heart for a reason.
Cooking isn't just what I do; it's who I'm called to be. It's how I serve, how I bless others, and how I honor both my heritage and my faith. Every dish is a prayer, every meal a ministry, and every satisfied customer a confirmation that we're exactly where we're meant to be.
This is more than a restaurant. It's a calling, a legacy, and a blessing for generations to come.
